Denys is Managing Director of Social Cooks, leading performance marketing, strategy and operations. He thinks in contribution margin rather than reach – and builds setups that don't just grow, but scale profitably.
The journey starts in a childhood bedroom in 2014: together with his siblings Roxana and Boaz, the middle of the three founds the fashion brand SASSYCLASSY – no investors, 100% bootstrapped. Fashion runs in the family: the three continue in the third generation what their grandparents started in fashion retail.
After founding the brand, he first moves to San Francisco to study, then into big tech: first Microsoft, then Meta (Facebook), where he manages some of the platform's largest advertisers as a Client Solutions Manager. “I learned from the people who wrote the Facebook algorithm,” he says in his OMR portrait.
In 2021 he returns – first full-time to SASSYCLASSY for paid social; in late 2021 the siblings found Social Cooks, with Denys as Managing Director. Platform insider knowledge plus first-hand scaling experience: the brand grew from zero past €50m in annual sales and more than €150m in total sales volume.
He shares that knowledge publicly on a regular basis: on the OMR stage in front of around 10,000 people (on feed hacking and data-driven scaling), as a speaker at White Label World Expo, on panels at Founders League Munich and K5, and in podcasts such as ChefTreff. In 2022 the sibling trio made the OMR50 – OMR's list of the year's 50 most exciting digital companies.
His standard: marketing you measure on the bank statement, not on vanity metrics.
